Client: Manitoba Floodway Authority
This study confirmed that there is much merit in relocating the existing Duff Roblin Park to the area around the Inlet Control Structure of the Manitoba Floodway as the area is already a popular year-round destination for Manitobans. It was also found that the site’s relative size and amenities are such as to better be able to commemorate the contributions made by the Honourable Duff Roblin.

The new park at this site would provide a more appealing and safer destination for Manitobans, while at the same time potentially enhancing the enjoyment of visitors from elsewhere who will be able to learn of the intriguing story of the Red River Floodway and other aspects of Manitoba’s history.
