McKay Finnigan and Associates have been contracted by the Forks Renewal Corporation to undertake the following projects;

Rail Side Affordable Housing Study - The Fork Renewal Corporation undertook quite an extensive public consultation process in 2013 to solicit input as to how a currently undeveloped parcel known as “Rail Side” should be developed. The general consensus coming from this consultation was that a mixed-use approach should be followed where housing was comprised of mixed income housing types. MFA was engaged to research alternative approaches to providing affordable housing on the site.

Indigenous Programming - The Forks Renewal Corporation engaged MFA to undertake outreach within the urban Indigenous community of Winnipeg to gather ideas and feedback on appropriate Indigenous programming at The Forks.  A focus of the work was to explore the potential for new and/or expanded Indigenous experiential programming.
